Intro to the Editor

I won’t lie… I was a little hesitant to begin this site, because we all know how the internet can be. Maybe everyone will read, maybe no one will read. Regardless, I think it’s a good thing to ask questions, have educatedish discussions with others, and try to get your thoughts out. This is my place to accomplish this. I’ll be posting about anything and everything that interests me at the time. Hot button political topics, “woo woo” subjects like the paranormal, scientific discoveries, space exploration, a random X post I saw, drama on the internet, etc. You get the idea. I know I know… politics might get me in trouble… I do not care. I will stand behind what I say. Not all of it will be “right,” or be socially correct; warning!

It’s time someone gave a normal, everyday citizen’s perspective. Someone who isn’t married to one political party, who has a normal adult life, and who is affected by the choices our politicians make that seem to never impact them or their families directly. A true moderate is incomprehensible to the Internet. If you don’t choose a side, you don’t fit in. This goes for other topics too. Do you believe in the paranormal? Find the nearest therapist, or not! Do aliens exist? Are ALL conspiracies real or none at all? You’re either crazy or based. These are the discussions I intend on giving a perspective on. I welcome feedback from anyone. I’m just a regular person doing regular stuff. No one has time to be a scholar in every single subject they come across. We just have discussions in the office or with our families and friends.

I may be flat out wrong about something. That’s fine. My positions have changed over the years based on where I was in life and my age. They may continue to change, especially when I’m presented with new information. People seem to be ashamed when they change their mind about something. Why? Is it not admirable to have a stance, encounter a new piece of knowledge you didn’t have, and then change based on that new knowledge? Isn’t it better to grow? The Internet doesn’t think so! Flip flopper! Again, don’t care. Call it what you want. If you have all the same ideas and thoughts you’ve had since you were a teenager, and, this is important, you ACTUALLY had an open mind to the other POV, I would be genuinely surprised.

This is going to be a fun project for me. Thank you for reading and visiting my site. I hope the uncoached, unscripted take of a stranger is refreshing.
