Terms & Conditions
Last updated: August 27, 2026
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of onPaigeOne (the "Service"), operated by Duska, LLC ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, purchasing a membership or donation, or continuing to use the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to create an account.
1. The Service
onPaigeOne is an independent opinion and news publication. Articles, commentary, and analysis are provided for general informational purposes and reflect the views of their authors. The Service also includes user accounts, profiles, badges, handle tags, and comment sections. All content is free to read; membership is an optional way to support the publication and unlock profile and comment perks.
2. Intellectual Property & Content Use
All content on the Service — including articles, headlines, commentary, graphics, logos, the "onPaigeOne" name and monogram, design, and underlying software — is owned by or licensed to Duska, LLC and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, republish, redistribute, scrape, translate, train machine-learning or AI models on, or otherwise exploit any content from this site without our prior written permission. Short quotations with clear attribution and a link back to the original article are permitted under fair use. Sharing links to our articles on social media is always welcome and encouraged.
To request permission to reuse content, contact us through the channels listed on our About page.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when registering, keep it up to date, and choose a username and display name that do not impersonate another person or violate anyone's rights. Usernames may be changed no more than once every three months.
4. Acceptable Use
You must not misuse the Service. That includes, without limitation:
- Unlawful use, fraud, spam, or deceptive practices;
- Posting hate speech, slurs, threats of violence, sexual content involving minors, doxxing, or harassment;
- Infringing intellectual property or privacy rights of others;
- Interfering with the security or operation of the Service, including introducing malware, probing or scanning for vulnerabilities, or scraping the site or its data;
- Evading moderation, bans, word filters, or account restrictions, including by creating alternate accounts;
- Reverse engineering, reselling, or redistributing the Service.
We moderate comments and may hold, remove, or decline to publish any comment at our discretion, including comments caught by our automated word and phrase filters. First comments from new accounts are held for review before appearing publicly.
5. User Content
You retain ownership of comments and profile content you post. By posting, you grant Duska, LLC a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and moderate that content solely to operate the Service. You are responsible for your own posts and must have the right to share anything you submit.
6. Memberships, Donations & Billing
Optional paid memberships (monthly or annual) and donations are offered to support the publication. Membership benefits, prices, and badge tiers are subject to change at any time; changes apply to future billing periods only and will not retroactively remove time you have already paid for. Donations are voluntary, do not include membership perks, and are capped at $100,000 per transaction.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Duska, LLC is the seller of record for all memberships and donations. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Stripe's legal terms and our Refund Policy. You can cancel a membership or recurring donation at any time from your receipt email or the billing portal, and it will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
7. Service Availability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted, timely, or error-free operation and may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
8. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious violations of our acceptable use rules. Banned users may appeal a ban through the appeal form shown on the comment section. We may delete accounts and associated content after termination, except where retention is required by law.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Duska, LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages (including loss of profits, data, or goodwill) arising from your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability to you for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $50, whichever is greater. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where such exclusion is not permitted by law.
10. General
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Duska, LLC is organized, without regard to conflict of law rules. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date; continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
