Is Rockstar copy/pasting from RDR2?

GTA VI - A Decade Long Wait for Copy/Paste?

The GTA VI extended gameplay look was finally released yesterday on Netflix. After a long 13 year wait and several delays, we finally seem to be closing in on launch in November. Social media is all over the place with mixed reactions about all aspects of the game. The environment and graphics were realistic and you can tell they put some time into the small details. Dialogue left much to be desired in my opinion, but we only got 20 or so minutes, so I’m giving that a pass.

BUT… fans of Rockstar’s hit game, Red Dead Redemption 2, are noticing similarities between the two games. A forest environment shown in the GTA gameplay release was stunningly similar to an image of a RDR2 (released in 2018) forest environment. Characters’ facial structures also look like a quick copy/paste, “let’s change a few things, they will never notice.” Surely Rockstar could have at least made up some new faces, since they only have billions of possible references…

The fans will always notice. We have nothing better to do.

Did we wait 13 years for copy/paste originality?
